OSC Actions
Full-time employees (bargaining unit T8) will have dues or agency shop fee calculated at 1.05%. Part-time employees (bargaining units AJ and GA) will have dues or agency shop fee calculated at 1.0%. Calculations are based on total gross earnings.
Employees holding a full-time position and a part-time position will pay the 1.05% for the full-time position and 1.0% for the part-time position. Employees holding two or more part-time positions will have 1.0% taken from each part-time position.
OSC will automatically start the agency shop fee for all employees in a part-time status if they do not currently pay union dues. Employees with a bargaining unit of AJ (Adjunct) will have an agency shop fee code of 468. Employees with a bargaining unit of GA (Graduate Assistant) will have an agency shop fee code of 470.
OSC will automatically change the dues code in PaySR for employees who are currently paying dues and working in a bargaining unit of AJ with a current deduction code of 274. The new dues code for Adjunct employees will be 467. Employees in bargaining unit GA with a current deduction code of 249 will remain the same.
The calculation routine for PSC members on the General Deduction Panel will be "Default to Deduction Table."
Listed below are some examples of what will print on an employee's pay stub.
