Purpose
To explain agency procedures for processing increases.
Affected Employees
Salaried employees in Bargaining Units: TM, TX, TU and S6 (Elevator Starter)
Hourly employees in Bargaining Unit: TU Locksmiths (BU TU) and High Pressure Plant Tenders (BU TM) are not eligible for the increase
Background
Pursuant to the Memorandum of Agreement between the City University and the following Bargaining units for District Council 37, Locals 983(TM), 1597(TU) 1797(TX) and SEIU, Local 300(S6), employees will receive a retroactive increase of 0.9246% added to the base salary.
Effective Date
Pending Board of Trustees approval Pay Period 1C, paychecks dated 4/17/03
Eligible Criteria and Effective Dates
Eligible employees in Bargaining Units TM, TU, TX are to receive a salary increase of 0.9246% retroactive to 9/30/02 based on the employee's 9/29/02 salary. Eligible employees in Bargaining Unit S6 are to receive a salary increase of 0.9246% retroactive to 6/30/02 based on the employee's 6/29/02 salary.

Agency Actions
Agencies must submit a Job Acton Request for the following eligible employees:
Annual employees in Bargaining Unit TM, TX and TU
Use the Action/Reason of Pay Rt Chg (Pay Rate Change)/SIC (Salary Increase) effective 9/30/02. For subsequent rows, use Pay Rt Chg/ CSL (Correct Salary).
Annual salaried Elevator Starter
Use the Action/Reason of Pay Rt Chg/SIC effective 6/30/02. For subsequent rows, use Pay Rt Chg/ CSL.
Hourly Employees in Bargaining Unit TU
Use the Action/Reason of Pay Rt Chg /CRT (Change Rate) effective 9/30/02. For subsequent rows, use Pay Rt Chg/ CRT.
Retroactive Adjustments/Agency Responsibility: The agency must calculate and submit retroactive adjustments, using the code of AJR, for miscellaneous earnings that will not be adjusted automatically. Refer to Bulletin CU129 Attachment 2 for codes.
OSC Actions
OSC will automatically process the retroactive adjustments for all regular earnings and certain miscellaneous codes. Refer to Bulletin CU 129 Attachment 1 for codes.
