Background
The Uniform Allowance Payment is authorized pursuant to a City University of New York memorandum dated October 14, 2008.
Eligibility and Payment Amounts
Uniform Allowance for CUNY Campus Security Titles and Nurses for December 2008

Agency Actions
Retroactive Adjustment
NYSNA implemented a retroactive increase effective 8/16/07 for Staff Nurse and Nurse Practitioner employees who were paid a Uniform Allowance in December 2007. The agency should submit an adjustment for these employees on the Time Entry page, if not already done during the retroactive raise processing, as follows:

Payroll Register and Employee’s Paycheck/Advice
The Earn Code UA6 and the payment amount will be displayed on the payroll register. The earnings description “Uniform Allowance CUNY” and the amount will appear on the paycheck stub or direct deposit advice statement.
