Purpose

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform agencies of changes to PayServ navigation effective in PayServ version 9.2.

Affected Employees

All Agency PayServ and PS Query users are potentially affected.

Background

The Payroll Improvement Project will upgrade PayServ from PeopleSoft version 9.1 to version 9.2. As part of the upgrade, several customizations will be eliminated and navigation will be simplified.

Custom agency pages will be replaced with delivered equivalents, and changes to Retirement and Savings Plans will result in new navigation to some components. Additionally, some fields will be moved to their delivered locations.

The job aid PayServ 9.2 Navigation Crosswalk provides a side by side list of 9.1 vs. 9.2 navigations. Pay Serv 9.2 navigation for common pages is listed in the updated PayServ Navigation Paths for 9.2.

Favorites will be deleted at Go Live. Favorites established for 9.1 pages will need to be re-established manually in version 9.2.

Effective Dates

New navigation and field changes are effective at PayServ 9.2 Go Live.

Agency Actions

Agency Payroll Officers should provide the information in this bulletin to all PayServ and PS Query users in their agency.
