Background
At the request of the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc. and in agreement with the New York State Police Investigators Association, the calculation routine for Deduction Code 302 will change from .85 percent to .73 percent of the enrollee’s biweekly gross earnings. Their request also includes a decrease in the biweekly cap to $42.12 and the annual cap to $1,095.00.
OSC Actions
OSC will change the calculation routine to .73 percent of participants’ total biweekly gross earnings and decrease the biweekly maximum deduction to $42.12, resulting in an annual maximum deduction of $1,095.00.
