Purpose

To notify agencies of new voluntary deduction code 482, NYSPIA Emergency Assistance Fund, established for members of the New York State Police Investigators Association (NYSPIA).

Background

In reference to the Laws of New York, 2013, Chapter 544, the New York State Police Investigators Association (NYSPIA) has requested a new deduction code for the NYSPIA Emergency Assistance Fund.

OSC Actions

OSC will automatically process transactions using new deduction code 482.

The vendor will submit all transactions for enrollments, cancellations, and/or changes in a bi-weekly file. Agency update access is not available for this deduction.
