Background
At the request of the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc., the calculation routine for Deduction Code 302 will change from .73 to .848 percent of the enrollee’s gross earnings. Their request also includes an increase to the biweekly cap from $42.12 to $48.92 and the annual cap from $1,095.00 to $1,272.00.
OSC Actions
OSC will change the calculation routine to .848 percent of participants’ total gross biweekly earnings and increase the biweekly maximum deduction to $48.92, resulting in an annual maximum deduction of $1,272.00.
