Purpose
To provide agency procedures for processing the payment.
Eligible Employees
Employees in Bargaining Units 07,17, and 62 who meet the eligibility criteria
Effective Date
Payment will be made in a separate check dated December 4, 2002
Contract Provision
Chapter 9 of the laws of 2000 authorizes the continuance of this payment.
Payment Amount and Eligibility Criteria
The Holiday Bonus Pay shall be four days pay for employees in Bargaining Units 07,17, and 62 who are in active status on November 6, 2002.
Eligible employees on an approved leave without pay on the eligibility date are entitled to the payment provided they return to the payroll within one year of the eligibility date.
Employees on Military Leave as a result of the September 11, 2001 events may receive this payment immediately.
Agency Actions
To pay eligible employees, enter the following information on the TIME ENTRY panel in payroll period 17 Lag/18 Current:

Miscellaneous Payment Information
The Holiday Bonus Pay is pensionable and not included in the calculations of overtime.
For any separate check, if an employee has an additional tax amount in his/her record, the additional tax will be deducted from both the regular check and the separate check.
There will be no direct deposit for this payment.
Payroll Register and Employee's Check/Advice
The earn code HBO and the amount will be displayed on the payroll register.
The earnings description "Holiday Bonus" and the amount will be displayed on the employee's check stub or advice.
