Purpose of Audit

The purpose of our review was to assess the Town’s progress, as of March 25, 2015, in implementing our recommendations in the audit report released in February 2014.

Background

The Town of Fishkill is located in Dutchess County. The Town Board is the legislative body responsible for managing Town operations. The Recreation Department’s revenues for 2011 and 2012 were $315,222 and $383,957, respectively.

Results of Review

Based on our limited procedures, it appears that the Town has made progress implementing corrective action. Of the six audit recommendations, two recommendations were fully implemented and four recommendations were partially implemented.
