Purpose of Audit

The purpose of our review was to assess the Town’s progress, as of March 29, 2016, in implementing our recommendations in the audit report released in August 2013.

Background

The Town of Grafton is located in Rensselaer County. The Town is governed by an elected five-member Town Board. Budgeted expenditures for 2013 totaled approximately $1.1 million.

Results of Review

Based on our limited procedures, it appears that the Town has not made progress implementing corrective action. Of the two audit recommendations, neither was implemented.
