NYSLRS is monitoring a potential cyber threat involving Retirement Online. Scammers have created a fake website, which looks similar to Retirement Online, aimed to trick users and capture login credentials.

First and foremost, we assure you your personal information in Retirement Online is secure. We are not aware of any evidence at this time of any member, retiree or beneficiary data being compromised.

You can avoid the scam by accessing Retirement Online only through the Office of the State Comptroller’s website. Users are cautioned against attempting to access Retirement Online through a search engine which could provide links to unofficial sites designed to deceive users.

Protecting the integrity of your personal information is our priority. We are actively working with the authorities and our IT staff to monitor the situation and identify anyone affected. We will update you on any developments.
