The Fiscal Year period in the Statewide Financial System (SFS) is April 1 – March 31, the State Fiscal Year, for all Business Units, including those which operate under a different fiscal year, e.g. SUNY and CUNY.

Pursuant to various sections of law and to complete the execution of the financial plan for the State Fiscal Year, the last business day of the State fiscal year is identified in the Calendar.
