All contracts between the State of New York and any contractor must incorporate certain uniform statutory provisions. The inclusion of these uniform statutory provisions is a requirement of the Governor’s Office, and is enforced by the Attorney General and the State Comptroller; contracts not containing these uniform statutory provisions will be returned to the agency by the Attorney General or the State Comptroller.

This requirement is satisfied by incorporation of Appendix A, Standard Clauses for New York State Contracts, which can be accessed from the Office of General Services website at: https://ogs.ny.gov/procurement/appendix.
