Chapter Laws 103 (CSEA) and 419 (PEF) of the Laws of 2004 provided for a $500 Longevity Payment for Long-Term Seasonal employees to be paid in Pay Period 1 for each year the employee qualifies, provided they meet the following criteria:
Employees must be in a CSEA (BU 02, 03, 04) or PEF (BU05) seasonal hourly position in the Office of Parks and Recreation (49XXX) or the Department of Environmental Conservation (09180) on the effective date of payment.
Employee MUST have at least 1500 hours in pay status as a seasonal employee in each of the previous 5 calendar years in either of the above agencies.
The Seasonal Longevity Lump Sum Payment is pensionable and is included in the calculation of overtime.
